Wild aquatic bird shares incredible friendship with boy

Chris has had a unique way with animals all his life, so it was no surprise to see a young cormorant quickly become so comfortable with him that it just waddles up on the rock to sit beside him! The cormorant responds with obvious curiosity as Chris speaks quietly to it as if nothing is unusual. Cormorants are extremely intelligent birds that dive for fish. It is rare to see one approaching a human so willingly.
