76ers Carl Landry Gets Ironic 'MVP' Chants
The Sixers defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 107-93 to ensure this year’s team won’t be the worst in NBA history. The hero in the victory was 32-year-old power forward Carl Landry who dropped 22 points on the Pelicans, shooting 9-of-10 from the field and grabbing nine rebounds. To put it simply, Landry is what we like to call a “role player,” averaging just over nine points per game. So the nine-year veteran was shocked to hear the "M-V-P!" chants when he was at the free-throw line.
