Why I Left The Left

I was raised in a strictly democrat household surrounded by leftists and liberals alike. 9 months ago I was a full blown leftist with progressive democratic beliefs. 5 to 6 months ago I officially left the left after some time of questioning their ideologies and felt I couldn’t openly speak my mind without the fear of being attacked or outcasted by my peers. After 2 to 3 months of essentially being politically homeless, 3 to 4 months ago I officially became a conservative. This is my story of why I left the left.
