A passenger captures the moment part of the engine casing blows away as Sky Airline Flight 112 (an Airbus A319-100) takes off from Chile's capital, Santiago, bound for the northern city of Copiapo, on Wednesday morning, local time.

The company’s Head of corporate communications, David Fuentes, said that the Flight 112 was carrying 137 passengers and had to return to Santiago after the accident, but as soon the problem was fixed, they were headed once again to Copiapo.

In the past few months, Sky Airlines began to implement a low cost policy in order to make flying more accessible to all travelers. They said that the lower prices won’t make flying more risky.

The video shows the Airbus A319-100 taking off from the landing strip as it usually does, but sometime during lift off, the casing of one of the engines falls apart. It lifts on both of the sides but breaks off on the exterior side of the engine.

There have been no reported injuries and the pilot took a turn and grounded the airplane immediately. Unfortunately, the passengers got to Copiapo a bit late, but arrived at their desired destination at the end of the day. Better luck next time.
