The murderous rampage at Columbine High School

In the language of the flowers Columbine symbolizes strength through wisdom; peace and tranquility. The columbine flower is linked to Christianity due to the resemblance to two doves nesting together. It is a sad irony that a place with name like this would be the scene of an act of violence that made headlines around the world.

It was on April 19, 1999 when two high school students named Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold would embark on a rampage in their high school that would leave 12 students dead along with one teacher. Over 21 other people were injured in this rampage. These two boys were heavily armed with assault carbine rifles, pistols, knives and pipe bombs. Who were Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris? Why did they do this?
