Abandoned gosling finds hope with caring family

Hatching a day later than the other eggs, this helpless gosling was left behind when his parents did not think the egg would hatch. All alone, except for the loving family that had been watching over the nest, the gosling needed help. The nature lovers took "Downey" to a vet who could care for him until they could get him to a rehab center where he would be with other geese.
