When UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos broke his foot and was forced out of his UFC 196 fight against featherweight champion Conor McGregor, one of the first calls the promotion made was to former featherweight champion Jose Aldo. However, Aldo turned down the fight, which was accepted by Nate Diaz. The former champion recently appeared on The MMA Hour to talk about why, after saying what he did about facing McGregor, he turned down the short notice opportunity.
