I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this watch for its price range. The fit on my wrist is perfect and the overall design is very appealing. The only downside I found was the size of the watch strap, which seemed quite thin on my wrist.
However, I was able to enhance the look and feel of the watch by replacing the strap with a Barton leather one. I was amazed at how well this watch resembles the famous Catain Willard model.
Even the band is a good copy. I received it just yesterday and Im already wearing it with pride. Some of my watch snob colleagues were genuinely surprised by the quality.
I own several expensive watches that I rarely wear. However, this watch offers great value for its price and I find myself reaching for it daily. Out of all the watches I own, ranging from high-end to low-end, this one stands out.

However, if budget is a constraint for purchasing one of those models, this watch is a great alternative. It is not a homage, but rather a full-on copy of the Seiko Turtle.
Considering that, this watch offers great value for under $100. I cant speak for all versions of this watch, but mine has proven to be solid and reliable.
The Seiko NH-35 movement is fantastic and adds to the overall quality of the build. The lume is good, although not on par with Seikos level of performance.
The inner part of the watch has green lume, while the bezel features blue lume.
