Russia has hit out at France over its decision to provide long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine. Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that "Paris has knowingly taken another step towards escalation of the Ukrainian conflict by pumping Kyiv terrorists with increasingly deadly weapons systems aimed at the new Russian territories, civilians, and civilian infrastructure." French President Emmanuel Macron announced the supply of Scalp missiles to Ukraine during the recently held NATO meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania.
