Nawabi Band Gosht is a traditional Indian dish that originated in the Mughlai cuisine. It is a rich and flavorful dish made with tender chunks of lamb or goat meat that are slow-cooked in a blend of aromatic spices and creamy yogurt.

Here's a recipe to make Nawabi Band Gosht:

Ingredients:

1 kg lamb or goat meat, cut into chunks
2 cups yogurt
2 onions, finely chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp cumin powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp garam masala powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 cup water
Salt, to taste
2 tbsp ghee or oil
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped for garnish
Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the yogurt, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.

Add the lamb or goat meat to the bowl and coat it with the yogurt and spice mixture. Let the meat marinate for at least 1 hour.

Heat the ghee or oil in a large heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, and ginger paste, and cook until the onions are soft and translucent.

Add the marinated meat to the pot and stir well to combine. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the meat is browned on all sides.

Add the water to the pot and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot with a lid. Simmer for 1-2 hours or until the meat is tender and falls off the bone.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan, roti or rice.
