Meet “Cimarron” Registered name- RV Some Kinda Guy. By an own son of the great hall of fame Quarter Horse, Frenchmans Guy, (progeny earnings more than $15million) Beautiful AQHA palomino gelding. He is the perfect age and height, 9 years old, and stands at 15 hands. Cimarron is an absolute sweetheart. “In your pocket” all the time, hoping you’ll give him some attention and love. He wants to be your best friend, and he would really appreciate it if you’d stand and pet him and pamper him for hours on end! When I say this horse loves people, he really does. There isn’t a mean bone in his body. He is just so cute, and loving as can be. Cimarron is also a really fun ride. Soft in the face, has a comfortable, walk, smooth trot, He will also collect up and carry himself beautifully if you ask him. He had a nice big ground covering stride, but will move slower if you prefer. Neck reins. Has a good responsive stop, and reverse. He moves well off of leg pressure. He has been around cattle, and a various assortment of other farm critters! We’ve pushed steers around and done a little penning and sorting. Checking fences, some light ranch work. Our 6 year old (is experienced for a kid) rides him and enjoys moving cows on him, and he likes carrying the flag and pretending to be a soldier. Mostly Cimarron has been a good reliable trail riding mount. He’s a pro! He crosses creeks, logs, down slippery banks, through the mud, around traffic or other horses, he is perfectly capable and does everything with ease. He’s been ridden through some pretty difficult terrain, and you couldn’t ask for him to navigate it any better. Willing, sane, honest, level-headed and dependable are just a few words to describe Cimarron. On the ground, he has impeccable manners. Easy to catch, bathes, good for the farrier, stands patiently. Good stalls manners. He trailers and hauls well. He is completely sound, and sells 100% in every way. Cimarron has the tools and ability to go on in any direction, or enjoy him as a steady trail mount. The possibilities are endless with a nice young gelding like this, and Cimarron is more than willing and ready to go.
