Blogger Alex Simon was backpacking through Asia when he booked a flight with Philippine Airlines to one of the most beautiful islands in the world – Boracay, home of gorgeous beaches and breathtaking scenery. He says it was the luckiest day of his life, because apparently no one else booked that flight, so he got to fly alone. He shot this footage while in the air, which later became viral and brought him fame!

Alex maintains his own travel blog, where he documents all of his travels. He uploads video clips as well, which leave you with a hankering for tropical islands and busy city streets on the other side of the world. Alex quit his job to travel the Americas; he packed only one backpack and he took his camera and his GoPro camera with him. Since then, his blog has been filled with videos from all of his destinations – New York, California, Nevada, Mexico, Cuba, Colombia and so many others!

Apparently, more and more people are deciding to jump on the private air travel bandwagon. Just like an Uber, there is an app where you can rent a private jet to take you places! It seems that more and more people like to skip on the muss and fuss that comes with flying. Alex might have had it easier for him, but it is still a good thing to know!
