Florida Keys underwater concert makes big splash

If you thought Glastonbury was the world’s wettest festival, think again. Hundreds of revelers donned snorkels and other diving equipment to attend the famous music festival, in and slightly under the Florida Keys. The Lower Keys Underwater Music Festival was designed to highlight the plight of the planet’s coral reefs, and promote ‘eco-conscious diving,’ whatever that is! Music was piped below the ocean’s surface by a local radio station, exposing the divers and marine wildlife to the terrors of pun-heavy radio broadcast scheduling, including such hits as the Beatles’ ‘Yellow Submarine,’ and the theme from, ‘The Little Mermaid.’-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
