Man Misses A Dock And Suffers A Nasty Fall

Mr. Schooner has docked many boats in his life. He simply leaps off the side of the boat as it approaches the dock, and after that he then quickly ties the boat to the dock. This poor guy got the embarrassment of his lifetime in this moment. As if that is not bad enough as it is, someone had the presence of mind to pull out their phone and record the entire incident. Unfortunately for Mr. Schooner, this means that his infamous moment of disaster is memorialized on the computer screens of millions of people who will eventually run across this hilarious video.

It is hard not to laugh at the video when you see what happens, but it almost makes you not want to laugh so that you do not seem mean or insensitive to the man’s predicament. Thankfully, though, Mr. Schooner has quite a positive outlook on life and a great personality to boot, so he is one of those people who is able to look back on life and laugh at himself and his own silly predicaments. That means that it is alright if the rest of us join him in his laughter.

It is not shocking to see a video like this one ending up on America’s Funniest Videos. The site often employs the use of videos that people take of either themselves or their family members having these types of “epic fails.” This video would definitely fall into that specific category. Mr. Schooner just barely misses the stairs and platform by just a few inches when his boat approaches the dock. Instead of landing on the platform as he had intended, Schooner instead plummets to a very dangerous position between the dock and his own boat. For a second, it seems like he might be trapped between the two objects. He could have very easily been fatally injured or even killed in this situation. Getting stuck between a boat that is thousands of pounds heavy and a concrete bunker is not a position that anyone looks forward to find themselves in.

As soon as he misses the platform, Schooner’s friends and others on the dock that see the disaster rush to his aid in hopes of helping the man get back to safety. Schooner hits the water, and he is about to be flattened by the side of his own boat. Just in time before he is seriously injured, his friends on the dock push his boat away from the dock and save their good friend, Mr. Schooner. Schooner was surely very thankful for these friends after this ordeal. They saved his life. While one man helps Schooner up, the other friend tends to the boat. Schooner rises, so this hopefully means that there is nothing seriously wrong with him.
