Moscow turns down South Africa’s request for Putin not to attend BRICS summit | World DNA

Russia has rejected South Africa’s plea of not sending president Vladimir Putin to next month's BRICS summit in Johannesburg. This is according to the South African deputy president's statement to the local media. Earlier, Russian officials had informed about the uncertainty of Putin’s attendance which was because of an international criminal court warrant to arrest Putin.
