Sometimes life gives you lemons and other times life gives you the biggest mess to clean after a whole grocery store shelving unit topples on the ground. This shelf stocker didn’t know what hit her when one moment she was putting up boxes on one of the lower shelves, and the other she heard the unmistakable sound of the rack collapsing and bringing each bottle and each box on the ground. Sometimes it just takes a split second for everything you’ve created so far to come crumbling down like a brick of cards. It almost seems like it’s happening in slow motion, you see your fruit of labor shuddering and slowly giving up the fight against gravitation. You can almost imagine each piece of it falling and breaking on the floor and the last thing you remember is seeing the mess that cost you hours if not more to create.

Life is funny that way, but the important thing to remember is not to give up. It might happen, but the second time you recreate it it’s going to be even better than the first.
