Dele: Abuse, Drugs & Sleeping Pills | Trauma and Football Career

Carl Mann talks about the recent Dele (formerly Dele Alli) interview on Gary Neville's The Overlap, where he discusses a lifetime of trauma, his sleeping pill addiction and his hopes for the future.

Dele rose to stardom with MK Dons, the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur (under Mauricio Pochettino) and the England national team. Dele talks of his special bond with Poch, helping him realise his potential on the pitch.

In recent years, Dele has struggled with form and now talks about the reasons behind that, including some childhood traumas, lies by the press and more recently a sleeping pill addiction.

Now looking to the future, Dele hoped to recover from injury and regain his form in football.
