Hawkins speaks at the July 9, 2023 Moreno Valley City Council meeting about his recent arrest. He never does state why he called the police to his parents house 5 times and why they arrested him. He stops short of saying that the police were there to bodily assassinate him... no, they (the police, the Republicans, people who aren't falling for his jive), want to assassinate his character because he's a Democrat, standing up for his people.
