# 1 Reason that Sales People Can't Close a Sale
The # 1 reason sales people can't close a sale is because they don't qualify their customer lead. Sales lead qualification will give you plenty of ammunition about your customer that you can circle back and use to close the sale. Some sales people JUMP right into the presentation and skip all the qualification steps that come before in the sales process system. Customer lead qualification will help you figure out if the customer is the right FIT for what you are selling. It saves time and makes sure that both you and your customer are happy.
