Kentucky man in skull-filled home arrested, tied to nationwide body part-selling scheme

During the execution of a federal search warrant at the residence of a man from Mount Washington, authorities uncovered a disturbing situation earlier this week.

On July 11, the FBI conducted a search at James William Nott’s residence as part of an investigation into the sale and shipment of stolen human remains through online marketplaces.

Upon arrival at the apartment, an FBI agent questioned Nott about the presence of any other individuals in the home. Nott disturbingly replied, “Only my deceased friends.”

During the search, law enforcement officials made a chilling discovery inside the residence. Numerous human remains, including 40 human skulls, spinal cords, femurs, and hip bones, were found, WHAS 11 reported.

In a court document, an agent described the scene further, noting that the skulls were “arranged as decorations throughout the furniture.”
