Sec. Blinken thanks Japanese and South Korean foreign ministers for trilateral cooperation

Secretary of State Antony Blinken attended a trilateral meeting with Japanese Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa and Republic of Korea Foreign Minister Park Jin on the sidelines of the annual East Asia Summit Foreign Minsters’ Meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia Friday. Sec. Blinken thanked his counterparts for their recent progress on strengthening the economy and reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to defend its allies from North Korean “aggression.”
