Avoid Being Ghosted By Customers

Is anyone else on here experiencing cancellations or people having this tendency to wanna keep some money? Here's the main thing.

Number one is the clear expectations out of the gate. No matter what these things come up, you're gonna have some folks that cancel. You, do the work, get with the contingency, get everything approved, and the homeowner wants to bail.

When I communicate with customers, I'm very direct saying, Hey, listen, you know, there's a lot of legwork that we do to get this. Project approved for you.

Number two, when you get ghosted is to stop by the house. When you do stop by, the main thing is for you to investigate, to find out if they chose someone else, if they're keeping the money, cuz it'll dictate your dialogue. If they try to pocket this cash. What will happen? By law, the roof is technically no longer insured.

Option number three, after that. Of being ghosted is to mail and email a letter. This will be a firmer letter letting them know the terms of the agreement. What you'll find, you'll still get ghosted. This will eliminate 90% of those problems.
