Fiscal Fridays: The pharmacy spending farce

Medicaid is the largest single budget in the entire state government of Idaho. The Dept. of Health and Welfare says it's because drugs are expensive. Yet basic economics explains that when third parties pay for services, costs always rise. The elephant in the room when discussing Medicaid costs is ENROLLMENT.
