SETTING YOUR COURSE BY THE “DEEP COUNSEL” OF GOD

Proverbs 19:20-21 New King James Version
20 Listen to counsel and receive instruction,
That you may be wise in your latter days.
21 There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the LORD’s counsel—that will stand.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYBODY!!!

These verses from Proverbs 20 really spoke to my heart this morning, and I really felt led of the Lord to share some things with you tonight. I want to start with the questions from this morning’s devotional, and I pray that these questions will challenge your heart, but also motivate you to want to have a legacy that honors God and shows others that you are being directed by Him in everything you say and do.

In your life, what is the why for your work or ministry?

What legacy do you hope to leave by what you accomplish?

Why do you do what you do? Is it for God, or to satisfy your ego? Is the legacy that you are preparing to leave behind one in which God is honored, where He is represented well in your life? These are just some of the many questions that God has put on my heart tonight, and I’d like to share all of them with you through this vlog tonight. I invite you all tonight, to join me in this vlog, and learn more of how you can commit to working with a purpose that not only glorifies God, by allowing your heart and life to be set on course by the deep council of God's instruction to you. As I close this post for now, I ask this question of you. What type of legacy do you want to leave behind? Is it a legacy in which God is guiding and directing you in everything that you say and do, or is it guided by self? Are you allowing God to set your course by his deep counsel, or your own? I pray that you will choose to live a life that is guided by the principles and precepts of God's word, and not in self. That you will ask God every day to inspire you to commit to working with a purpose that glorifies Him, allowing Him to direct your course and everything that you say and do. Let God guide you through the deep waters!
