Brown Bear opens car door with ease

A family that witnessed their car being hijacked by a clever brown bear in front of their home in the Smokey Mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee managed to capture this footage and share it with the world for everyone's amusement!

The clip starts in some awkward angle, probably waiting for the bear to make up it's mind, but after a few seconds the entire audience present starts to laugh hysterically at the sight before them. A curious brown bear managed to open not one, but both doors on the driver's side of their van.

Bears have uncommonly high dexterity for large carnivores and that is due mostly to the wide variety of food sources they have to exploit on a daily basis. They are known to manipulate berries and nuts with their front feet. The mobility of their front paws is due to the shape, rather then the length of the individual elements that enable those movements.

Bears are incredibly fast learners and they have somehow learned how the lock on the car door works, because the Internet is overflowing with videos of all kinds of bears opening car doors. Some are even while the humans are inside of the car! Still, we are amazed.
