Every single thing (past, present, and future) is in the 5 books of Moses which is the Torah, and God's word never changes so no adding or taking away from it. This doesn't just apply to concepts and ideas, but the words, letters, sizes of the letters, and even spaces. If one of these are off, the whole Torah is rendered invalid. Contained within the Torah are codes, patterns, and endless layers of knowledge and wisdom which get's lost if a single letter is changed.

If nothing can be added or taken away, what about the prophets? Do they add or update God's word? Not at all. The prophets tap into the codes, patterns, and layers within the Torah that speak to the current generation they are in, and/or for future generations.
