Cleanout Early 1900s Boxed Water Well (Full)

We needed to cover an old square dug well for safety's sake on our ranch. So we built a well house out of oil field pipe & covered it with used barn tin. Refurbished a 1908 clam shell digger that is lowered to the bottom of the well. We intend to recover about a foot of fill to see if there is anything interesting left at the bottom by earlier settlers on the ranch. Used the antique sawmill to mill some sweetgum timbers for a floor to work on at the well. We believe the well is near Trammels Trace trail.
Used tractor grapple, chainsaw, Foley Belsaw M-14 circle sawmill. Triple T Ranch & Sawmill on Choctaw Ridge is homesteading with a sawmill & anvil.
