Ministry of works asks for 40 billion to facilitate vehicle registration

The Ministry of works and Transport seeks for 40 billion shillings to facilitate in motor vehicle registration and licensing.
In a closed door meeting chaired by Speaker of Parliament Annet Anita Among, registration of vehicles was among the resolutions cited to bridge the gap of poor road usage in Uganda.
The Ministry of works and transport has also been tasked to expedite the regulations for the Road Act 2019 which has since remained silent.
