Antediluvian speculative geography; & grand milieu for Falling Into Space, a novella I'm planning.

The book would have a sort of Edison vs Tesla theme, with a DNA mad scientist creating splice creatures for various factions and a protagonist who just wants to get away from the infernal situation on Earth as everything becomes ever more corrupt.
