My cover of "Beautiful Waste" by The Triffids. Music probably is the first and last real love of my life, it helped me get through the first 20 years which was a really dark period for me. I don't think I would have made it if I didn't have it.

Now I am in a much better place and I can really just enjoy it, but I'll never forget what founding "Self Sufficient" did for me as far as acting as a complete and total turning point. I had those feelings in mind when I recorded this, and I was feeling a bit nostalgic so I set it to some performances of ours over the last 14 years.

I had all these dreams and aspirations with music when I was younger but as I age I care less and less and am just grateful for the gift I was given, even if no one else other than a handful of people ever hear it.
