Traxler Mansion Destroyed by Fire

On April 23, 2023 around 3 a.m. Traxler Mansion was found engulfed in flames. The mansion was scheduled to go up for auction May 4, 2023 because of tax forfeiture. A potential buyer was lined up to purchase the property and restore the mansion back to what it looked at its prime. The property still went up for auction but it was not purchased. On June 1, 2023 it was put back up for auction and sold.
