The beach may be incredibly relaxing, but there are many reasons why you shouldn't fall asleep on the beach. You could get burgled, sun burnt, or enveloped by high tide. Marriages have been broken off because of it, empires have fallen and many a sleepless night have been spent because someone snores! Most of the time there is nothing that can be done, so you might as well ride the tide as it comes along and pray that you fall asleep first.

Sometimes, snoring is accompanied by one such slightly embarrassing thing. The poor man might have gotten weary from the sun shining from above, the cool breeze blowing from the sides, the intermittent physical activity with the waves, so he decided to tip his hat and take a little nap.

Now, there are a lot of things that might have gotten wrong on this day. We don’t know who shot the poor man, blowing his dentures and snoring at the same time, but they could have had the common decency to tell him “hey, sir, you are roasting like a duck in this sun, maybe you want to take cover”.
