Well, I called the bottom tick of the entire day on the open candle within 7 ticks but didnt pull the trigger because the candle formation was so familiar as bearish and it appeared it would be a "knife catch" if I got in. Although I swore I wouldn't beat myself up, its hard not to when the analysis is spot on and execution just isn't there. In hindsight, I should have pulled the trigger because my invalidation was only 12 ticks away from the entry I called at 23. That is just wise risk management to get a 3/1 opportunity in that situation and if I'm wrong, so be it, I lose $300. So I am in fact beating myself up but will learn that little lesson, something I didn't even consider on the stream. It will be in the brain now to consider that factor when faced with an ugly candle in my desired execution zone.
