The National Citizens Inquiry testimony of Charlotte Garrett, an english language teacher. After her first dose of the covid vaccine, she developed tinnitus. It affected her ability to concentrate and perform normal activities, so she refused a second shot. She taught newcomers and refugees english but found it difficult to teach with everyone wearing a mask. Then, for nearly 2 years, classes and meetings were held online. She tells of the challenges with her employer, who still has mask mandates in place to this day. Charlotte is concerned for the students, whose bodily autonomy was completely disregarded. The ability to progress in the english language was hampered by non educational policies, like pushing a vaccine.
The mandates have also caused a rift with her children, and she talks about that in her testimony.

The covid restrictions and mandates hurt many Canadians. Please listen to their stories.
