Better Street Riding Motorcycle Gloves

As promised, here's my comparison of the Scorpion SGS Mk II gloves and the REV'IT! RSR 4's. I then talk about some of the alternatives I considered.
I had a specific max price I was trying to stay under, while looking for features more common to gloves beyond that price point, so keep that in mind. By $200 or so your options expand significantly, by $350 you have a variety of race ready gloves to fit almost any hand. I wanted $150 and under, along with other requirements.

Gloves and our helmet liners are the bits of gear that see the most direct skin contact and sweat. They also have a huge influence on the enjoyment of our rides. I have five pairs now, if you include my super light pair and my winter pair. Even before I picked the RSR's as my fifth, I made a point of swapping which pair got worn, particularly if on the same day. That lets them dry out completely and recover a bit. Adding the RSR 4's lets me ramp up the protection on days when it's not super hot and gives me one more pair for the rotation. This is helpful when the humidity is higher and I end up making multiple rides in one day.
