The DEI industry exploded 169% after the murder of George Floyd, now companies are laying off their new diversity execs hires. FT reports that it is because of mounting economic and political pressure, but a deeper look reveals that diversity programs do not achieve their stated outcomes, at times they even backfire. Research shows that the popular diversity trainings used in most institutions achieve little to no improvement. The tide seems to be turning.
