Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One is headed to a franchise best opening weekend on the back of good word of mouth and easy competition. Nothing against Sound of Freedom, but it's fairy tale run is about to be upended and Indiana Jones is being read his last rites.

This good news comes on the heels of Hollywood rolling up all the red carpets. SAG-AFTRA just voted to go on strike, starting midnight. No more press, no more production, everything stops until the actors "get a fair deal." Biden is even stumping for his most vociferous supporters, so you know what time it is.

This is the first time both unions, the actors and writers, will be on strike in over 40 years. What a time to pick to prove your worth, with Box Office returns in the dirt and writing at an all time low. It's a bold move and one that will result in a lot of untalented people being sidelined.

But House of the Dragon will continue filming, so couldn't care less about anything else, LOL!
