The watch arrived in perfect condition and I sized it myself without any issues. It is a big and heavy watch, which I find awesome, especially if you prefer that kind of style.
The build quality is impressive considering the price. It may not be a Rolex sea dweller, but it comes pretty close! I have had Rolexs before and found that the floating mechanism easily breaks, but with this watch, I am confident it will hold up well.
I almost dont want to beat it up because it looks so nice. The Seiko movement is known for its durability and I havent noticed any flaws with this watch, such as symmetry issues on the face or dimness in the luminescence.
I expect to be able to use this watch for a lifetime. I will update my review after using it during outdoor activities like lake days and diving to see if it holds up.
Right now, I feel like I have Swiss quality without the expensive price tag. After winding the watch for the first time, I noticed that it gained only 4 seconds after 12 hours.
This shows that the movement is top-notch. I am really amazed that I only paid $230 for this watch. In a span of 48 hours, it only gained 1.25 minutes, which proves that the mechanism is built to last.
I am even tempted to buy a second one as a backup for when this one eventually needs servicing, which I estimate will be around 10 years from now.
Overall, this watch is perfect for someone who likes a big and sturdy timepiece that they dont have to worry about.
