I am incredibly impressed with the performance of the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus Robotic Pool Vacuum Cleaner. In just a week of owning it, I have already used it four times on my indoor pool.
Even though my pool is only 9 1/2 X 18 feet, it is quite complex with various features such as an in-ground cleaner, a 2 1/2 feet deep water massage shelf, five steps, and an Endless Pool swim machine.
When I first ran the Nautilus, I was absolutely transfixed. It was like watching a thrilling movie with elements from Jaws, Hunt for Red October, and Battlebots.
I could not take my eyes off it for a full two hours. The Nautilus has the ability to ascend, blow its "tanks," and descend, allowing it to easily reach every corner of the pool.
It raced across the bottom, climbed each step at a 45-degree angle, ensuring that it thoroughly scrubbed the edge of each stair. I was particularly impressed with how it handled the transition point from 5 1/2 feet deep to 6 feet deep.
This area is prone to algae accumulation, but the Nautilus scrubbed the coping tiles above ground level at a 45-degree angle, leaving them spotless. Even when the Nautilus bumped into the Endless Pool, it was not confused.
It simply slid over and continued scrubbing. It even cleaned the front and sides of the Endless Pool, ensuring that no area went untouched. I timed the Nautilus and was amazed at its efficiency.
Within just 30 minutes, it had completely eliminated six small pieces of leaf on the bottom of the pool, just half the size of my little fingernail. And within two hours, my entire pool was covered, leaving not a speck to be seen.
Comparing the Nautilus to a human responsible for pool maintenance, it is not only much less expensive but also significantly more thorough and reliable.
Even though my indoor pool doesnt get very dirty, the Nautilus managed to pick up the tiniest grit and clean every edge. It truly is a remarkable sight to behold.
