Shocking Decision by California Legislature

It’s sad but true – and quite frankly, it’s hard to believe. Twisted California Leftists are fighting in the State Assembly to PROTECT child sex traffickers.
Yes, you read that right. The Democrat-led Assembly Public Safety Committee in California BLOCKED a bill that would make child trafficking a “serious felony” and put human traffickers behind bars for life. This stunning legislation shines a light on the twisted worldview of the radical Left and further endangers innocent children.
Even Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom’s support of the bill didn’t sway a handful of radical Dems from blocking this bipartisan bill meant to protect children from sex traffickers.
To add insult to injury, Assembly Majority Leader Isaac Bryan attempted to justify this indefensible decision stating:
"Longer sentences don’t actually stop things from happening. . . . All they do is increase our investment in systems of harm and subjugation at the expense of the investments that the communities needed to not have this be a problem, to begin with."
That’s a creative way to say you don’t care, and you’re more interested in defending horrific criminals and keeping them out of jail – the reasoning I can’t imagine – than you are protecting innocent kids from being destroyed. It’s truly disgusting. Thanks to these radical Leftists who seem committed to destroying the morals and values of this nation and keeping criminals out of prison – perhaps in the hopes of garnering more votes in their next elections – the sex trafficking of minors is now a minor crime in California. Arson and carjacking are considered serious felonies in California. But kidnapping children to sell into the sex trade is not. And traffickers wouldn’t face the same severe punishments that a car thief would. That does not compute. I don’t know how these people sleep at night.
We are hopeful that Gov. Newsom follows through on reports that he will step in to rectify this miscarriage of justice. The world is watching, California. Your children are watching.
