Kresha Easton is the biological niece of Charles Vallow and the biological aunt of JJ Vallow. By virtue of Charle's marriage to Lori Vallow Daybell and the adoption of JJ by Charles and Lori, Kresha was also an aunt to Lori's daughter, Tylee.
Charles Vallow converted to the LDS church as part of the conditions for marriage to Lori. After the horrific murders of Charles, JJ, and Tylee, Kresha felt compelled to do a deep dive into researching Mormonism in an attempt to find justice for her family by trying to understand Chad and Lori Daybell's beliefs.
In her own words, Kresha explains how she believes the ordinance/ritual of the 2nd anointing and the Mormon Church is linked to the murders of her family members and now has removed themselves from any culpability but saved Lori from the death penalty. Will the Mormon church do the same for Chad?
