Suspect arrested for trying to block police while chasing primary vehicle who bailed back into Mexico

A human smuggler led DPS Troopers on a high-speed vehicle pursuit in Webb County. During the pursuit, another vehicle tried blocking Troopers.

The driver of the original vehicle eventually bailed out near the river and swam back into Mexico to evade authorities.

The second driver crashed and was arrested by Troopers. That person is charged with evading arrest, smuggling of persons and interfering with public duties.
