When the temperature drops and things get really cold, you need the appropriate gear. And while there are plenty of good insulation layers out there, most are made for being active. As in they'll keep you comfortable as long as you keep moving. But certain tasks or situations don't require movement, such as sitting in LP/OP (Listening Post / Observation Post) out hunting in a tree stand, or just hanging out around camp. The U.S.M.C. High Loft gear by Wild Things will keep you toasty warm in most any weather. It uses Primaloft Sport insulation inside and is covered with a windproof, water resistant, breathable shell. All of the gear is Berry Amendment Compliant, made here in the USA.
