San Pedro Calungsod, also known as Peter Calungsod, was a young Filipino martyr and missionary who lived during the 17th century. Born in 1654 in the Visayas region of the Philippines, he dedicated his life to spreading the Christian faith and sharing the Gospel message. At a young age, Pedro joined the Spanish Jesuit missionaries and embarked on a mission to the Mariana Islands, specifically Guam.

In Guam, Pedro worked alongside the Jesuit missionaries, catechizing the native Chamorro people and assisting in various missionary activities.
