The size of this sleeping bag is quite impressive. It is so huge that it is almost impossible to put it back in the bag it comes in, unless you have a vacuum chamber.
In terms of comfort, this sleeping bag is absolutely amazing. It is soft, fluffy, and incredibly warm. We opted for the 0F version and it did not disappoint.
It is truly astonishing how well-made and comfortable it is. However, it is worth noting that this sleeping bag is not suitable for backpacking. It is just too huge and will take up almost half of your cars trunk.
So, unless you are traveling by car or RV, I would not recommend it. There are a few important pieces of information missing about this product. Firstly, it can only be hand washed.
Machine washing will void the warranty and dry cleaning is also not recommended. Secondly, the liner is made of 100% polyester fiber, not cotton as previously stated.
Lastly, the sleeping bag is made in China, as indicated on the product tags and box. Despite these missing details, the construction and features of this sleeping bag are top-notch.
It appears to be very well-made and designed to provide maximum warmth. The interior pockets and cinching at the top help keep your head warm and prevent pillows from slipping away.
Additionally, the guard strips on the zippers prevent the liner from getting stuck and tearing. Overall, if you are in need of a large and incredibly comfortable sleeping bag for car or RV camping, this TETON Sports Sleeping-Bag Mammoth is highly recommended.
However, it is not suitable for backpacking or motorcycle camping due to its immense size.
