Reservoir covered with thousands of hypnotizing 'shade balls'

With California experiencing one of its most severe droughts in recent memory, cities across the state have dumped millions of 'shade balls' into their reservoirs. The black, plastic balls were rolled into the reservoirs to help protect water supply from sunlight, wild life, and also to prevent evaporation. Back in June 2015 the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District put this plan into action, check out the hypnotizing effect it created. Credit to 'Las Virgenes Municipal Water District'.
