A video appeared in 2011 on UFOTeamTNT, the daughter channel of Scott C Waring who runs the UFO channel UFO Sightings Daily in which he shares his discovery [1]. On his official website, he writes about this unidentified flying object [2].

The flying disc is originally from 360cities, a website dedicated to 360-degree photography [3]. This appeared on Google Earth afterward, which has not gone unnoticed among the hoaxers.

People like Waring refuse to do any research, but publish disinformation based on a biased nonfactual fantasy knowing that the name of the creator is mentioned on the page. This photo refers to mister Vasiliy Nikitenko. In fact, Waring publishes on his website in 2016 knowing that this has been debunked several times [4].

Because I don't have Vasiliy Nikitenko on my friendslist, he responds to my DM a year later. I sent him a message asking if he's behind the UFO at Cape of Good Hope.

I asked if he is the creator of the infamous UFO photo. Nikitenko responds on Facebook: "Hi. Yes, it's me."

Now that I am sure I have the right person in front of me, I ask him an indirect question to get him to confess the photo is fake.

His answer to my question is the admission he faked the UFO at Cape of Good Hope. He said, "Its small joke."

"There are no aliens," Nikitenko continued.

The origin of the photo goes back a long way. One of the first mentions tells me that the UFO was grabbed from a blog post dated March 16, 2019 [5].

Nikitenko has removed the CGI UFO from the background in which clouds can be seen and placed it in his photo and published the hoax on 360cities. Why he mentioned the website www.ufo-good-hope.com is unknown.

This age-old UFO case can finally be filed once and for all among all other resolved cases.

Poll Result

"How do you feel about To The Stars Academy?" [6]
51% of the votes find it an unreliable UFO source, and only 16% find it reliable. 33% have a different opinion like Josh Burton:

"I feel it’s somewhere in the middle , they have a lot of great people onboard , but their front man hype’s stuff up and is not truthful , forgot his name , but the podcast he did on The Joe Rogan Experience , seemed like he was full of **** about numerous things" [7]

A good example is the fake triangular flying object that DeLonge used as an example during the JRE show [8].
