The Barronett Blinds Pentagon is incredibly easy to set up and take down, making it convenient for any hunting trip. However, I did find the doorway to be on the smaller side.
As someone who is 64" tall, I have to duck down and turn sideways to enter. Despite the small doorway, this hunting blind is spacious and can accommodate two full-grown men along with all of their gear.
During a particularly challenging hunting trip in Wisconsin, where there was rain, snow, sleet, and high winds, this blind kept us dry and protected from the elements.
It effectively blocked the wind, allowing us to comfortably stay inside. The interior of the blind is quite large, with ample room to store two pull sleds, two lunch coolers, two bug out bags, rifles, and two small heaters.
Even with all this gear loaded inside, we still had space to maneuver. The blind is constructed with quality material, although the interior paint job seems to be peeling a bit.
Nevertheless, it doesnt affect the blinds functionality. One feature I particularly appreciated is the presence of multiple shooting lanes and the ability to lower the windows.
However, I do wish they had used zippers instead of velcro, as the sound can be loud when opening or closing the windows. To avoid making noise, we kept the windows down and found that even in windy conditions, the blind remained quiet.
It didnt sound like a tarp, allowing us to call in and get close to two mature bucks without them even detecting us. Overall, the Barronett Blinds Pentagon is a fantastic purchase for any hunting enthusiast.
It offers ease of setup, protection from the elements, ample space, and quietness. Lastly, the hunting blind is not only functional but also visually appealing.
I included a photo for size comparison, where I was adjusting the tiedown, not peeing. However, its worth mentioning that I did discover several pinholes in the material, and the top cap seam tends to leak during rain.
This is a minor drawback that could be improved upon, but it doesnt detract significantly from the overall performance of this great hunting blind.
