Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm pledged to completely replenish the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) during an interview with CNN Wednesday. America’s emergency oil stockpiles have dropped to record 40-year lows under President Joe Biden as the White House sought to prevent steep gas prices. Sec. Granholm said the Energy Department plans to refill the SPR by the next presidential term.
