Zelensky slams Biden’s ‘unprecedented and absurd’ stance on NATO membership

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed strong criticism towards NATO leaders, including President Biden, during the annual gathering of the military alliance’s leaders, injecting fresh diplomatic tension into the proceedings.

Zelensky condemned their reluctance to extend membership to his war-torn country, characterizing it as a display of weakness and absurdity, the New York Post reported.

His remarks came shortly after Biden mentioned the development of new language concerning Ukraine’s potential NATO accession.
